My name is India, and i own and run Silver Sixpence Tiaras in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The idea for Silver Sixpence Tiaras began when I left school, and began experimenting with designs as a hobby. It was during my time at University that the idea really took off and I realised how much enjoyment I gained from seeing the tiaras go out, and hearing the happy comments from satisfied customers. It is a wonderful feeling to know my tiaras are being worn on such a special day. If you've already begun your search for the perfect wedding tiara in high street shops and boutiques, you will have seen the crazy prices you might be expected to pay for a quality, handcrafted tiara (up to £250 in some places). When I began Silver Sixpence Tiaras, I wanted offer my products at fair prices. Hopefully you'll find our range of tiaras affordable and every bit as well made (and more beautiful!) as any tiara you'll see in a wedding shop. Every tiara is carefully hand made, and uses a different technique to many of the other handcrafted tiaras you will see around the internet. The crystals used in most of the tiaras are by world-class Austrian company Swarovski, who are well known for the amazing sparkle their crystals produce.
